“GLORY TO God” in the New Galactic Calendar (NGC) 3603, is the dominate star nursery in the galaxy Carina’s spiral arm that spans 17 light years. (one light year is 5.88 trillion miles a year). This star cluster is 20,000 light years from Earth. Sir John Herschel first discovered the nebula in 1834.
